evoluent mouse functionality

I installed USB overdrive for the evoluent vertical mouse and lost some mighty mouse functionality: dashboard/widget when pressing scroll button & the "squeeze" to reveal multiple open windows. Are these programmable with USB overdrive? Would I be better off uninstalling USB overdrive? (As a fairly new mac user, how would I uninstall a program?)
