Hi, I know that the answer is here someplace but if someone can link it that's ok
I am using a g4 with 1.25 GB and OS X 10.5.1 with Excel 2008
when i create charts in excel, all seems to go well until i look at the legend. instead of the series name, it has the series name with a bunch of the data after it, that is, it will say "Series Name" and then 1.05, 2.03, et cetera. On Excel 2004 i never had this problem. (Or rather, I knew how to deal with it).
I have tried various ways of clicking on the legend, and I am sure there is a simple thing I am not doing. Unlike Excel 2004 I can't see where the data is being selected, the chart wizard just creates the chart and I have to go back and change it to what i want.
It's bloody irritating, but I know someone out there answered this.
