Hello all,
I had originally posted this on the MB forum but I'm not sure this is device specific, so I would be glad if any Mac / Office 2016 user could help.
I'm using a rMB 2015 with a QHD external screen hooked with an Apple HDMI multiport adapter, with the latest Sierra and Office updates.
For the last month Excel 2016 has been lagging to the point where it"s barely usable. Just selecting any cell makes Excel lag for a few seconds with the beach ball. Strangely enough it works OK (just ok but it looks that this is common) when I'm using the internal screen. I have tried another HDMI dongle and the same happens.
I have reinstalled Office which seemed to improve for a few days, but it's now lagging again.
I would have blamed the low power of the rMB but CPU and RAM loads are fine, and all other apps are working ok.
Anyone experienced this lately ? Any clue how to fix it ?
Thanks
