Excel Collaboration on iPad

Looking for a way to share a spreadsheet with another iOS user. I bought the Microsoft Office 365 and shared a document, but it seems they cannot open up the shared document in the Excel iPad app. Is there another way to do this besides Google Sheets? I can't get google sheets to load my spreadsheet consistently. And iCloud sharing also seems to lack device collaboration.
