Excel Columns V-Z Do Not Resize in Width

I cannot resize the width of columns V-Z. Column U within this page does resize but not the other columns within this page.

When I attempt to resize columns V-Z, only the down arrow appears within the alphabetical column at the top of the Excel page, whereas the vertical double arrow only appears for the U column.
Other pages resize fine within this spreadsheet, just not columns V-Z on this particular page.

Thanks for any tips on how to correct this problem.
