I am using a MBP M1 with MS Office Home & Business 2021 Mac.
I just upgraded the Mac to Tahoe, but now found that the cursor in an open Excel worksheet has changed from a regular cursor to a single arrow pointing to the right if directly on a row, or up/down arrow when moving over several rows.
I went through the Mac Settings and also through the Excel settings, but did not find an option to select the cursor type.
I did a google search but have not found any info how to change the cursor back to the regular cursor, that was/is the same as the cursor on the Mac.
See screen shots how this new cursor looks like, and it is not very practical.
Has anybody else found the same issue, and if yes, do you know how to change it back?

it immediately 'draws more focus to your content' - your liquid [gla]assets appear to be fine.

This cursor might work with the edges of the safari browser, but for Excel they are not very practical, actually they are annoying, you just move a little bit and the cursor has changed again, and you cannot select what you want.
Also making it larger, does not really solve the problem, as the regular mouse cursor get way larger at the same time. And the regular cursor is used in most other apps/programs that I use.

Well, just was talking to Apple tech. support about this issue. He had me try Numbers to see if the new cursor is used as well, and sure enough, it is NOT used. Numbers is still using the traditional mouse cursor. He did not have an idea why this is.
The tech. forwarded some feedback about this issue to development.
