Sorry if this an old question. I have just read that the drop down menu in Excel is not supported on the ipad - this explains why it is not working on my new ipad. The page I read this on was quite old - is it still the case that this feature is still not supported on the ipad? Thanks.

When you tap on a menu, you get options in a horizontal ribbon format versus the vertical menu layout you may be thinking of. Happy to answer specific menu questions if you want more details.
