I hope this is the right place to post my little crisis......

I have just painstakingly entered over 200 lines of time data into my Excel using the hh:mm:ss Time format. But when I try to make a sum at the end to total the hours up, it is giving a VERY incorrect answer (wont show more than 10 hours) I think it might be because the final total will be over 24 hours, and I probably need to allow for a days? column, but after a bit of fiddling and diddling, I realise that I have no idea how to make a 'days' column. I need help!!!!

Many thanks in advance for anyone who can help me add these numbers up.

Blundery.

Hi,

No need for separate column here...all you have to do is format your calculation cell as;

d "days" h:mm:ss

You don't actually need the "days" part but you'll only have numbers if you don't add it

Hope this helps :)
