Ok...made a spreadsheet using excel 97 on a PC. Just a one page proposal/invoice type of spreadsheet with text, borders colors and a logo thrown in. So when I open it with excel 2004 for mac or with numbers, it wants me to reduce the size to 91% of normal to fit on one page when printing and oddly enough, excel jumbles up some of the text, whereas, numbers does a decent job with printing it.

Anyone know why a simple excel spreadsheet wouldn't port over correctly when opening it on a mac version of excel?

[edit] ok, so i downloaded neooffice on my mac and also tried another pc running vista and office 2007. Both opened the filed made with excel 97 with no problems and no reduce to fit on one page was necessary. Does excel 2004 and numbers just suck that bad?
