A little background. There's an model I developed that exists entirely in Excel, navigated entirely by buttons and VB, with all of the math done by a simple but long calculation page. Lots of graph swapping going on, jumping around to several pages, automatically hiding / showing different details of data.

I always thought it would be very impressive for clients to have it on an iPhone app, but after seeing the iPad last week, I know this would look fantastic and take this whole project to a new level.

However, I don't know a lot about app development. My skills stop at visual basic. I need to do some homework to dive into this some more, but I wanted to get some other developers thoughts on this. How long would it take / how hard would it be to basically convert a very large and comprehensive spreadsheet into an app for the iPad?
