Dear All, I am a PC convert, except for the fact that I am a million years old, and my first work PC was an IBM 8088, and the serial number was 000093 - a Lotus 2.1 person. Now with every Excel version for PC up through 2004, there is a Transition Key selection under Options, that allows you to set the keyboard functionality to the old school "slash" menu select option, so when you hit the / key, the menu is accessed - right, you know what I'm talking about? and when you hit the F2 key, you go into cell edit, and when you hit the F4 key you repeat the last function, like changing a cell format, or inserting a row.

Well, is there any such feature in the Mac world for Excel, to use old school keyboard techniques, or am I just going to have to use the much slower mouse, or two or three key combination method to reorder my Excel world?

The only thing I know would be "Customize Keyboard" in Tools (in Excel 2008 at least). Hope that helps somehow.
