walk in appt, was told 15m to 1h15m, grabbed dinner at the food court

didn't have time to finish cause I got a text my appt was ready, waited like 5 minutes at the table for a tech to come out

he replaced my c key which was 100% stuck, and tried to investigate my interrmittent vol down since the get go,

he said a mechanical part in there is broken and they'll have to replace whole bottom lid

but don't wanna be without my computer so he set it out over a week

I probably won't bring it in, got 2 years left to get it taken care of. and wanna see durability of the keyboard in the next year, I need this thing every day starting right now for a long while fingers crossed

But great stuff,

I've had plenty of bad experiences, long waits, insanity, blah blah, but Apple has impressed me with their service this year

I did a walk in screen repair out of pocket on my 7+ too (only phone I've ever shattered, and did it 2 days before I got the X), and by luck the screen is more beautiful than the one that came with the device which I hadn't minded at all, GOT TO KEEP MY JAILBREAK, wee, and was in and out quick.

I have been hard on Apple, and in many regards, I think still understandably so. but its good to know their service can/has possibility to still be quite fantastico. Wont get that with other OEMs.

What year/model is your laptop, and how long did you use it before you experienced a problem with your 'C' key?
