For the past two hours my boss's iPhone has been excessively communicating with my Mac Book Pro. I've got little snitch installed, and its normal to see coworkers iPhones and iPads check in with my Mac over the network - but my boss's iPhone has been furiously communicating with netbiosd on my mac for the last 2 hours. I showed her, and she proceeded to turn off bluetooth, all her apps, and put her phone in airplane mode, but there was little change. The only thing that stopped it was when I pulled my network cable out.

I have no idea what is going on. She just got back from a week long business trip to Germany yesterday, and I'm mildly concerned that there is something fishy going on - ie. malware/hacking.

Is there any cause for concern? Am I being paranoid?

Nevermind

Sorry to waste everyone's time. The constant network activity I was seeing went away about an hour later. (so about 3 hours total)

I guess there's no point worrying unless it come back.
