Ok, so, I got my iPhone 5 on Friday and on Saturday, I started filling the space on it by downloading all high-rated songs from iCloud (iTunes Match) to the phone while on wifi.
I had the phone set to allow iTunes to use cellular data, but I was on wifi. I left home, but before I did that, I set iTunes to not use cellular data, and took off.
Guess what? It was still copying several GBs of songs down, and when it switched to LTE, it continued downloading.
2 GB of data transferred in about 15 minutes or so before I realized it was still downloading (phone was warm and battery went from 30% to 4%).
So, be careful out there.
