Hey,

After a logic board upgrade on my MBP, the fans don't slow down. The current temperature is 95º F and the fan speed is 5398RPM. Any ideas why?

Thanks.

I like smcFanControl. It lets you manually control your fan speeds, make different presets, etc. It's free.

Reset your SMC and PRAM.

I did a reset, the fans are still way too fast. I have Fan Control, with the settings on there, the fans should currently be at 2500RPM. On the little graph, it says that. The actual speed, however, is constantaly around 6000RPM.

It's possible after the logic board replacement the temperature sensors are either not connected or are broken, have the computer checked out.

The temperature sensors seem to work properly, but the fans aren't responding properly.
