I have enabled the high and low heart rate alerts on my Series 4. I've received at least eight this morning already. The majority of them came when I was out walking (high). I also have received a couple just sitting here at my desk (low). I fall in the "athlete" category so my high and low limits are pretty extreme (140 for high, 40 for low).

The problem is the alerts I'm getting are for rates within that range. The one I just received was for 47bpm. Is anybody else getting these alerts for rates falling within the acceptable range?

hard to tell, but might be worth a doctor looking into just in case.

It is strange that it would send those alerts while you were walking. It specifically says it will display when your heart rate is above a threshold after a certain period (~10 minutes) of inactivity. So if you were walking and received it during the walk, seems like it isn't working properly.

I have received 2 or so over the past 6 months but both were during meetings or presentations where I was actually sitting and/or stationary.

I had the same exact thing. I setup notifications on HeartWatch and I would still get alerts non stop. So I removed Heartwatch and the issue stopped.
