I noticed the other day that all of my homepods are using quite a bit of network data (cumulatively around 200gb a month). I've looked around on Reddit a bit and see that others have had this happen, but haven't been able to find a solution. Has anyone here experienced this, and if so, any solutions? It wasn't this way at first and we have been pushing up against our monthly data cap. Thanks in advance!

They are downloading and uploading large amounts of date when idle, and I do not have lossless enabled, so it’s something more than that. This morning they’ve used a few gigs and I haven’t played any music.

I don’t have any HomeKit cameras, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was HomeKit related. I’ll poke around in the home app and see what I can discover. Maybe there’s some sort of diagnostics being sent as well.
