Exchange 16gb for 64gb iPhone5, but no stock?

I have 6 days left on my 30 day return window. I regret purchasing the 16gb and want to exchange for a 64gb. Stores have no inventory as many of you know. What can I do? Do I need to return, gain back my upgrade discount, then repurchase at a later date?

I did the same. Sprint said as long as I buy a gift card and be put on the wait list the return policy would be waived. I actually got lucky and an order came the next day so it didn't matter anyway.

Man if this is the case then that blows, I need a phone to use and I don't want to keep checking the reservation system every night for that.
