One of our tech's accidently removed the sbs user group under active directory by right clicking on the account and pressing delete. (don’t ask me why!) He noted that after he had done this the mailbox store on exchange 2007 was empty.
He then recreated the user accounts and when the users logged on it launched new profiles.
Previously they had their names only under documents and settings and now they have their names.domainname under documents and settings. I am now trying to help him recover from this disaster. Luckily the OST's are centrally stored on the workstations but Outlook cannot access them saying it belongs to another profile. Is there nay way of reverting back to the logons the user previoulsy had to open and export the OST to PST?
