Exchange Email Repeat Notification, Task Icon Notification

I had 'Reminder' and Notify Icons on my jailbroken 2.2 iPhone. Now with 3.0 I am not reminded when I get a new email (aka a vibrate every 5 minutes). Does anyone have any app or secret to getting their email to buzz if unchecked? Or should I wait until the newest jailbreak?
