Exchange Email Syncing to (null)

When I put in all my settings, the account verifies, goes to the next screen to select what to sync (Mail, Contacts, Calendar). After a click save, it says 'Syncing set to (null)'

And that's it. It's not syncing. I'm desperate to get this working. Please please please can someone help

Also, I got calendar to sync, but entries that were created in outlook can't be edited on the iphone? Is that normal?
