I have a 3gs and on the side where the plastic meets the chrome there is a distinct ridge you can feel with your fingers, instead of it being all round and smooth.

It easily catches your thumb nail as you move it along it.

Clearly not a performance thing, but I do notice it and have since day 1.

Is this worthy of an exchange or just live with it?

99% of the people who have the 3Gs on these boards will most likely say yes.

Not knowing the extent of the evil misaligned bezel I would say that if it bugs you that much you may as well. However, be forewarned that you may get one with another issue.

You, as a customer, are well within your right to be 100% satisfied. Just be sure you're doing it because there is truly a design flaw and not because you've read these boards.
