Yes, I really like the idea of a smaller phone that is as powerful as the larger phone.
That makes sense since you are on your phone so much. Maybe Apple will release a smart battery case (or Magsafe battery pack) and then maybe you can get the mini again.
I never had issue with battery life on any of my iPhones, so I think the mini should be fine.
Which is bad compared to the 12 Max. Which is bad compared to the 11 Max with battery pack. The Mini has better battery life than 90% of prior iPhone models. Just depends on what you are comparing to. In fact, it doesn't matter as long as you can get through a full day. Can you?

I can get through two days with the mini! That’s why battery life is not not an issue to me. I use my iPad as my main iOS device.
Thanks. I already bought the iPhone 12 mini, and will then return the iPhone 12. It’s a gift from my wife, so no problem there... She actually intended the buy the mini, but was somewhat confused when ordering.
GREAT, you're laughing then. Apple is the greatest.I miss ordered an item last month. I merely refused the UPS delivery and it was then credited on my CC in just three days. Saved having to order return packaging and print a label. If one doesn't have access to a printer Apple will provide the necessary label as well.
My xs max has 88% battery health. I feel like the battery life between it and the mini are the same now lol
