Exchange my 38mm sport for a 42mm. Any way not to wait?

Like my apple watch. But thinking I may want the 42 instead of my 38. My return time is dwindling and I'm not sure I want to wait a few weeks for the 42. Anyone ever have any luck convincing Apple to extend return until a replacement arrives?

Order the new one and get in line. The last day of your return, start the return process. You have an additional 14 days to make sure they receive the 38mm. That way you'll be without a watch. What model are you looking at getting?

I have the 38mm space grey. Want to upgrade to the 42mm. When I initially tried on at the store I felt the 42mm was too big. But after a week plus I think the 42mm is better for me (top pic)

Mc.Cali. When I chatted with Apple they said I only had a few days to return once I received the shipping labels, that they would cancel the labels. You say 14 days from notification?
