Exchange "Password Incorrect" error when logging in with @aol.com Gmail account?

Hey guys...I'm trying to set up Gmail as an Exchange account on my new iPhone 4S. I followed the Google Sync instructions and am using my "*@aol.com" to log in. When I type all my Exchange info, I get the success checkmarks by every field but a few seconds later I get the "Password Incorrect - Enter the password for the Exchange account" error.

I've tried a lot of the things suggested in various forums...doing the UnlockCaptcha, turning off https in Gmail settings...nada.

Any suggestions?
