Ok stick with this one...

I have an iPhone 4 and iPad.

On iPhone 4 i am running 2 x Exchange accounts Gmail and 3rd Party supplier, 1 x POP3 account and Mobileme.

On the iPad 1 x Exchange, Gmail as IMAP, 1x POp3 and mobile me.

There was a carrier update pushed down through iTunes i think on Monday. Come Monday evening i was seeing failure to connect via 3G on the 3rd Party Exchange account but fine on Wifi on both devices.

I did a reset network settings and a reboot on both and that seemed to resolve it until this morning.

This morning i could only check mail via 3G on the iPhone4 - neither on Wifi and not on 3G on the iPad. I performed a reset network settings and a reboot (home and power switch till apple logo comes up) on both. No change.

I have done a restore on the iPhone4 and will set everything up again as i am doing it from fresh.

incidentally i have checked on my desktop PC via the same Wifi as the iPhone and iPad are using and that is fine to bring down mail. So not my Wifi that is the problem and the email account is obviously working fine.

Thoughts?
