Exchange rate deal for Canadians

I was doing some browsing on the Canadian and U.S. online apple stores and was curious to check the exact exchange rate Apple is charging for Canadians. Here's what I found:

2.66 Macbook Pro U.S. Store: $2499
2.66 Macbook Pro Canada Store: $2699

When I exchanged the U.S. price to Canadian (XE.com) it came to $3184 (before tax!) difference of $485 rather than the $200 increase they charge online. Nice to see a bit of a deal for Canadians considering it would have been easy for Apple to update their exchange rates during the last spec bump.

Yes although when the C$ was one to one with the US$ I didn't see Apple lowering their prices one cent....

Alternatively, US'ers could drive north and spend US$2115 (CDN$2699) for that US$2499 computer.

Both numbersyx and techhound1 are right but I'm just pointing out that right now currently benefits Canadians.
