I decided to return my new Air today.....in exchange for one with more storage...this is my fourth iPad and I've always had one with 32GB of storage but in a moment of weakness I thought I could get away with 16GB. I had that filled in a week so I returned it and got one with 32. Could have saved a trip back to Apple. Now I know.;)

EDIT: Thanks for the help in correctly the error of my ways.....

I think at least some folks will do that. More so though if there is a price reduction for the holidays. The extra $100 for me I rather not go for at full cost.

16gb is not enough unless it's basically just an ereader, and even that is pushing it

Good move

You could haved saved many people lots of time by include the 16 vs 32 in the title. Sadly, many will open this and waste time reading about why somebody returned an ipad air... which this is not the case.

I agree. The title is misleading. It should say "Exchanged my Air". I want my click back.

I was totally expecting a "returned air for rIPM" thread. Booo!!

That being said, I don't blame you a bit. I went 64gb this time, and am even thinking if returning fir a 128gb. :)

I should have went 32, but all my AT&T store had was the one 16 GB I bought on launch day...... I'm doing the Next, so next year, hopefully 32 gig and touchID for me.

I don't agree that the 16gb is just an eReader. I went with a 16gb Air and am very happy. I have full access to all my music, movies, videos, and books by simply steaming them over wifi via Home Sharing.

I agree if you want to take all this entertainment with you on the go, then you need more storage. But for those of us always connected to home wifi, a 16gb iPad functions beautifully just as well as a 128gb.

I haven't used Home Sharing but now that you mention it I will

Thanks :)

How do you use "Home Sharing"??
