I took my iPad out of the commuter bag I use to carry it in today to update it to 7.1 and I drive a work van without window tint and under mostly cloudy skies I noticed that the display looked pink. All of the white areas were a champagne pink, it was a subtle but pinkish red. However it doesn't look that way indoors, but it does outside. So they replaced it and I check the new one, it has the same color hue. I guess that the way it is! Or maybe it was an optical illusion with the white border looking so white in the cab of the van, it must have caused the display to have a pink cast.

Have any of you noticed this? I have the white iPad retina mini. Is it an illusion?

I noticed the screen on my rMini looked pink recently when I was sitting by a window in the cafeteria at work. I don't know if it was the screen or my eyes, but I think it is normal. My screen looks white in all other indoor areas.
