Exchanging 3GS - vibration

I picked up a 3GS today and I can hardly feel it vibrate. I'm leaving the state for 9 days...can I go to an Apple store within 30 days and exchange it for a new in box 3GS, or is it a smaller timeframe to return for one NIB instead of refurb?

Not sure of the return policy. Call an Apple Store to be sure.
