Exchanging an unlocked iPhone question

Hi everyone. Today I just found out that my iphone 7R7 week 37 has the negative black screen issue that many people are complaining about. My phone is unlocked with several third party apps. I want to exchange my iphone for another one, hopefully one without the screen issue. Is there a way for the genius bar people to find out that I unlocked my iphone? Or can I just delete all the 3rd-part apps, remove my t-mobile sim card and do the exchange. The exchange does not have to do anything with my iphone being bricked. Anyone know how I should approach this problem?

Reset your phone (via itunes) and be honest with them... and hope for the best.

You warrantee was voided when you installed 3rd party apps. Apple may or may not honor it anymore if they have other methods to tell if it was hacked.
