Hi all.
After water damage to my keyboard, it fails to work and I'm going to replace the top case and keyboard. Trackpad is working fine, and no water damage to any other components, I accessed it and backed up with an external keyboard. Its a mid 2012 A1466 EU keyboard as it was purchased in the UK. I am currently living in north america and it is far easier to get a US english keyboard and top case, I'm just wondering if there will be any problems i might encounter? Either reinstalling batteries/ logic board/ speakers etc? Or is there a chance due to the different layout my macbook would not recognise it?
Thanks in advance
