if you have just ordered a macbook, is apple good about returns when a new product comes out? If you had been using if for a few weeks, would they let you return even if there was no actual problem, you just wanted the new one? Thanks

Very interesting. I will be purchasing my very first mac ( iMac ), and would like to know if there is anyway of getting a newer model - if it gets updated in August/September.

Haha !. I would be Very angry if i got the top end iMac, then 15 days later a newer model came out :p

Why?

Would you have any less of a machine than you had bargained for?

No, its just that i will know for the exact same price I paid, I could have got a newer updated model.

I have being watching these forums every day since the macbook update rumor. I have seen no sign that the iMac will get update, although the next due date is in November. Unless I see an update before mid-August, I will still get the current iMac. I know it is a great machine and this will make an excellent first-Mac for me !
