I purchased two iPhones on the day AT&T released the iPhone for walk-ins. Now my problem is, the phone that went to my sister seems to have better reception then mine! It's not really just about dropped calls, it's the data I'm having issues with. She'll of course have an extra 1-2 bars while the phones are side by side with no case on. My phone goes from 3G to EDGE very often, and it's annoying me. My 3G data speeds in my home average from 19KBPS to 300KBPS. The upload is unpredictable. When I travel I have complete 3G dead zones, where the phone claims to have 3G but won't connect to the data network. The issue now is that I was planning to exchange it this Saturday, but the phone seems to have a scratch/crack in the bottom left hand corner. I have no idea when it developed because I have a case on it, but it's there. It's more than likely a crack, but it looks rather strange giving it the appearance of a scratch. Am I completely screwed with exchanging it at AT&T? Can I count on their 30 day policy to exchange phones? My Apple store is back-ordered for at least a month, and that's just too long to wait.
