Hi all,
Not able to get information about this but am I able to exchange the colour of my iPhone 13 without having to refund it at the Apple store within the 14 day period? It’s through Barclays so not sure whether I have to refund and re apply again? Thanks very much

You have to return the device, pay whatever fees they want for that and then repurchase the iPhone you want in the color you want.

Apple does not allow direct exchanges/swaps.

Seems more hassle than it’s worth for sure, thanks for your reply.

Yes exactly! Only for color-changing Apple does not allow direct exchange and you must have to pay extra!!

That's a question for the Apple store...
Tried but none of them pick up unfortunately, however Apple support advised that they are a little lenient in terms of the return period but with it being through Barclays technically speaking you cannot just exchange. The risk you’re running then is if you get declined and you’ve returned the phone, you’re left with nothing

Well, you get to go to Apple store, live, for the swap, so that's where you would find out for sure.
(I don't think I have ever heard of anyone talking to an individual Apple store over the phone, unless that store called first
Risk of a "decline" seems less likely when you would already be set up with Barclays, but you need to exchange for essentially the same item (same cost, all of that already approved for the first device)
I know, I'm expecting a bit too much from Barclays -- actually responding to (not much) change in a normal fashion.

To change/swap color, you will need to return the current one for a refund and then you'll have to repurchase the color of you choice once your credit is refunded.

Choose the wrong color... be prepared to pay the price. Most retailers won't allow you an "oopsie" for choosing a color you don't like after you get it. Most will charge a restocking fee.

I didn’t purchase the wrong colour actually.. I have a new watch that was gifted to me and it’s gold hence why it does not match the colour of my iPhone. Again no big deal but I thought I would ask the question since there is no information about this particular situation online. Pay the price for what exactly? It’s not the end of the world if I can’t swap it I can always put a case on it. For the person above that says you cannot speak directly to an Apple store is wrong, CS can put you through directly to the store if you ask them to. Thanks

Then instead of asking about returning the phone, why not inquire about exchanging the watch? You would have better luck explaining to the store that it was a gift to you and more likely to succeed in an exchange and obtaining one that matches, or complements your CURRENT phone color. Instead, you choose to inquire about replacing the phone.... which is the wrong color to match your gifted watch.
Here, let's review EXACTLY what you said

When you ask specifically about exchanging because of the color... it indicates to all that are reading it that you "got the wrong color"... you never clarified WHY it was the "wrong color" so most reading would assume it was because once you received it, you were unhappy with it, which is not abnormal with some of the colors that Apple sells their iPhones in. A friend of mine ordered the iPhone 13 Pro in alpine green... and when it came in hated the color. She had to eat the restock cost and order a new phone in a color she thought she would like more (she went with sierra blue).
