Exchanging my iPad for a bigger size, data plan question..

I am going to go to the Apple Store later today to exchange my recently purchase iPad 16GB AT&T for a 32GB AT&T, is there anything I need to do specifically to move my data plan from the one I give them to the new one? Or is at as simple as logging into the new one once I activated it?
