Exchanging old 09 Macbook batt with new 10 batt

I've been following the ifixit's tear downs of the new macbook on different websites and from what I read on tuaw, it says that you can get more battery life from the new macbook battery. 9to5mac says that the batteries in the late 09 unibody macbook is interchangeable with the battery in the latest macbook. I just want clarification if this is possible and whether it'll really give me a significant boost in batt life. I tend to bring my macbook on the road a lot so any amount of extra batt life would be awesome.

You're looking at a difference of 20 minutes or so under optimum conditions.

Ack... really? Thanks then. I won't bother to exchange batts if that's the case.

It's probably mostly the graphics processor that gives the battery life boost.
