just wanted to share, if anyone's contemplating doing this exchange--
my unit was actually a little over a week past the 14 day return limit, but my Apple store still authorized the exchange, albeit with a restocking fee. Ended up paying just around $50, and would have actually gotten over $100 refunded if I had stepped down to the entry-level model.

Great service.

I did the exchange this morning with Best Buy, was able to avoid the restocking fee though.
