Good graphics (for a wii) and improves in almost every way on Excite Truck.

Oh brilliant. I really loved playing through Excite Truck, I don't normally 100% play through games but I had to for this. Good to hear the sequels decent.

Excitebots feels a lot more finished overall as a game than Excite Truck. The best thing is that awful soundtrack has been replaced.

Then this is the game for you! Definitely worth the money! As long as you like arcade racing games.....

It's not like the wii is graced with genuinley good arcade games, with decent graphics that fly by at 60fps, and controls that feel natural and not gimicky (although the whirling spin is a little gimmicky)....

Hmm, I *LOVED* excite trucks. I was a little skeptical about this with how goofy it looked with "live" trucks or whatever. But if MRU is saying a Wii game is good, then you know it's good! . No offense meant. Only problem is I'm now in Austria, but I bought my Wii on launch day back in the States, so it won't play this unless I get a copy from the States . Stupid region blocking!

I was really excited when I saw this was out, but after seeing that you play as insect-like "bots" I lost all desire.

I love Excite Truck, and still play it as it's my son's favorite game behind Mario Kart ("Daddy, play Trucks??").

I don't know, I just can't seem to embrace the whole "bot" thing. I would have rather had more "realistic" vehicles.

Excite Truck is so much fun, maybe I should rent it and give it a shot?

Yep...... If you liked Excite Truck then give it a go. I'd be surprised if you were disappointed.
