This actually happens to one recipient.
We're both on iOS 18.7.1. one iP is a 13 Mini, the other a SE2. They're both online at the time of me sending a message. An exclamation mark appears my end when I send. It disappears immediately when I open the App. Meanwhile I still receive messages from the other side no issue but obviously there isn't a number of received messages when the exclamation mark is present. Once I open the App, it disappears and received number of messages are displayed when they come in.
This problem has only appeared in the last month or so.
So I hope I it didn't make the explanation way too complicated..I possibly did.
