Moin Moin,

I have a question regarding the playlist management in iTunes.

I'll describe briefly what I wanna do:

I have a lot of my songs rated and an intelligent playlist which automatically includes all my 4star plus songs and then syncs them with my iPod.

This list, however, includes a lot of songs which are already organized in another playlist which also syncs with the iPod. For that reason I don't want to have them twice in my playlists.

So is there any way to tell iTunes not to add songs to my "favorite playlist" if they are already in another list?

Is there any work-around for my problem? Can I somehow add categories to the categories to choose from in order to create intelligent playlists? I know that I can make new playlists based on songs in another playlist but I can't see how it works the other way round.

I'd appreciate any help on this.

Cheers,
Basti.

Yes, simply add 'Playlist is not "Other Playlist"' to your smart playlist.

Where "Other Playlist" is one of your other playlists. Repeat for each of your other playlists.
