I had the 'Excuse Me Boss' text alert on my old Galaxy.s4. I've now got myself a new iPhone 6s and I can't figure how to put the same text message alert on the iPhone. Is there a short way or has Apple made it difficult?

A comic tone for text messages here is a selection of what the sound like. There are other similar ones floating around.

it would be for all text messages that I receive. I kind of like, it makes people jump

Then it's not per contact, and you go to the settings app > sounds from menu > text tone > and select one.. but you want a custom one, there's only a store button.

I don't quite have experience with really custom ones. I just want it to make a small short tick sound so I know i have something new, without bothering others with it.

As annoying as that would be if I hear such text tones, here's what you need to do. You require iTunes and a computer (Mac or PC) to load new ringtone or alert tone.
  1. Launch iTunes on your computer
  2. From the FILE menu, select “Add File To Library”
  3. Find and select the Ringtone (.m4r) file
  4. iTunes will then import that file into the iTunes Music Library
  5. After the import, the .m4r file will be located under the Ringtones section in the Music Library!
  6. Sync up your iPhone
  7. You should now be able to choose the ringtone/text tone for any of your contacts

This always felt like a myth, but glad to hear this works. My Android friend is getting the iPhone 7 Plus, and she has this question. i will forward the post.

It works...I myself use it for setting for setting (non-annoying) custom ringtones for my loved ones :)

Ah, somebody from NL at last:) Haven't you ordered one yet? I am also getting the Plus

I am waiting for some answers from T-Mobile, some guarantees. What they say on twitter and on their forums and the phones seems to somewhat contradict in the fine print. Their extra discounted products for early renewal (the only way I can get it, early renewal) is until the 18th, so I have a week to figure it out. I don't have the money, and it will cost me 200 or 250, unless I give them my 6splus (but I kinda want to have the phone left over, as a backup, and as a second camera).
So I don't know. I am considering to just shut up and start saving money, and go with a 256gb 7s model next year - when my normal tmobile contract is over and stick to the plan 'skip first gen, go for the s'.
