Every now and then when I download a program and its a .exe file, it tries to open in Excel. Anyone know why it does this or how to change it? Somehow excel got set as the default program to open these and I don't know what to change it to.

I don't think .exe does anything on a Mac... unless your asking a PC question, to which I don't know the answer to.

It does this because Excel have taken the ownership of .exe files. But you can easily change the "Open with:" for .exe files to something else.

That said, I have no idea what you want with .exe files on a Mac anyway... :p
