Hello, I just installed w7 with the minimum required drivers, gfx, chipset, audio, ethernet and wifi. I didn't use the bootcamp package, and I'd rather not if I don't have to. However the exfat partition I made in osx shows as unallocated space, does anyone know which driver is required for that ? it must at least be somewhere in the bootcamp package.

thanks !

Format it in windows and it should fix it. I did a quick google and it seems this can occur when formatting to exFAT through OS X.

Why wouldn't you just install the Boot Camp driver package? Not only does it include all the basic system drivers, but also the ability to use the function keys on the keyboard. Having the "extra" drivers installed does no harm.

In any case, it's best to format an exFAT partition in Windows, as it can be flaky when done in OS X.

Thing is, I don't see the ExFat option in windows.. only NTFS and fat32
