Existing TextFree Unlimited account

I have been considering jailbraking my Touch but my only concern is if my TextFree Unlimted account will still work. I have a registered number through them and it is my primary means of contact with people.

I have read postings that the pirated version of the app has been locking people out of it with a message about pirating but what if I have already purchased the app and install it on a jailbroken ipod?

I think that you'll be fine. Jailbreaking will not effect your installed apps. Mines jailbroken and I purchased textfree and it works fine.
