Was very excited about Exovault cases, so when the iPhone 4 came out I jumped all over it.

1. They completely lagged and took forever to get it to me. Like, a month. No excuse. Slow, fly-by-night company.

2. FINALLY got it, literally over a month after I ordered it, maybe longer. It completely KILLED MY RECEPTION. I did multiple tests, and no matter what I did, it DEFINITELY killed my reception. Therefore it's totally useless to me.

3. Tried returning it, they claim it never arrived, I say BS. So, this God damn company sells a case that doesn't even work without killing reception completely, but now they're telling me they never got the return? NONSENSE.

4. I'm reporting them to BBB and whoever I can that will listen.

Good luck with Exovault, all they'll do is prove that your friends are right and that paying this much for a case is STUPID. Especially this company.

Received a "Factory seconds" loaner of both the exo 5 and 6 to do reviews. So far have done the 6...quite honestly, not sure I have the strength to do the 5.

Don't care for the look of the 6, though it is (if nothing else) unique...however you want to talk about reception drop if you don't have full bars? I went from 3 bars of 3G to 1 bar of edge. Cut my download speeds from over 2000 to under 300. Not very good!

I'll post the url to the vid review (definitely a bad review as well - I'm tired today, rambled, and took forever - feel free to skip about) shortly. But if you don't feel like listening to a tired dude run on and on and on, here's the highlights:
Nice looking, simple (I was sent an all black model)
Case feels sturdy, and the phone feels secure in it - not sure how comfortable it would be to hold for any length of time - and was definitely not the most comfortable thing to have in my pocket.
A bit difficult to take off and on, but so are all of the aluminum variety cases
MURDERS reception, and I mean, stabs it, shoots it, beats it to death, and then jumps on it for awhile. Horrible, horrible, awful results from that.

As far as the Exo 5, I like the look of it a lot more - the wood paneled sides are a nice touch, and I like the magnet closure.
I DONT like the fact that I hear grinding sounds of metal on metal/metal on wood when I put my phone in or out - when you have to really bear down to keep pushing the phone in - I consider that a problem myself.

I know that alot of folks are very excited about the Exovault cases...but from what I've seen of the units I was sent, their good looks are really about all they have going for them.

Please disregard - apparently youtube agreed that the video was too long - will need to chop it down some before I can post it ;)
