A client of mine wants a Thunderbolt 2 RAID 8 bay with ability to expand beyond eight drives in the future.
Meaning he wants to expand more than eight RAID volume in the future.

Any suggestion?

TIA

Update 9/1/15.

Found a scale-able, expandable Thunderbolt 2 RAID tower. Here are offering features of that box
  • Dual Thunderbolt 2 ports support Mac and Windows
  • Expandable up to sixteen drives (SATA scale-able) or 128 drives ( SAS scale-able) options
  • Supports greater 2TB HDD (tested 3TB | 4TB | 6TB and 8TB)
  • Supports hardware RAID level 0, 1, 3, 5 , 6, 10, 50, 60. JBoD and hot spare in MAC OS 10.x.x and Windows
  • Supports Multiple RAID/JBOD Array volumes
  • Online capacity expansion & RAID level migration simultaneously <===
Base on the list, i should be able to expand the existing raid up to 16x drives or 128x drives, depends on the option that i selected.

It is time to get this tower and test it
