Hey, I have been using my mac for 3 years now, and I like to dump a lot of temporary stuff on my desktop, and the way I position them reflects their relationship to one another... and then I have a messy desktop... and I need more space for more mess...

I had thought about simply making folders and positioning things in there, or getting a second monitor, but I'm looking for something a little more subtle.

I was wondering if there was an addon, extension, or app, or something, that would give you like, a second desk-space... that you can switch to and from...

Anyone know of anything like that?

Yeah, I know about spaces... But I'm looking for something that would also allow desktop items to switch as well...

You could set up another user accound and enable fast switching between them. All applications will continue to run when you switch between them.

If you set them up with no password it's be almost as fast as spaces.
