ExpanderDaemon?????

What is this app. It has recently been showing up when I close out firefox, and I believe it has shown up when closing out some other apps. I will do more research to find a pattern to it showing up, but when I spotlight "ExpanderDaemon", nothing shows up.

It also shows up when closing Mail.

Anybody want a shot at this. It is really annoying, and the research I've done, has turned up limited suggestions. Bueller, Bueller, anyone, Bueller.

It's related to Stuffit. And from what I see, it's related to having the "Automatically expand archives in:" option checked in Stuffit's preferences.

I don't exactly what that option does, but I have that option unchecked and am happy with the way Stuffit works...I almost never use it anyway, since OS X can expand just about everything these days.
