Expected delivery time for MBP order?

I finally got around to ordering a 16" MBP, and it's saying it's expected time for delivery is mid December. I know there's shipping issues at the moment, but in terms of when orders get shipped out of the factory, have orders been going out faster than Apple's estimates?

In the same boat. Hoping the delivery times are an overestimate.
